I started off in 1967 by making a semi-career out of street racing and working on Hemi motors for the Funny Car Crowd. But my Biker background started in 1969… what a year! That year, I built my first Chopper. A Vintage Custom Trike to be exact. It was from there, that I started developing my Twisted Texan Biker Humor. That, added with my extreme Texan Attitude, soon became who I was and what I stood for.

Later on, along came Vince P, who became my partner in crime…or rather Biker friend. We lost touch after I got married and he got married SEVERAL times after that. In 1990, I got divorced, went back to school and got my degree in graphic arts and web development. Even while belonging to corporate America, I never lost who I was or what I stood for.

So I started working on this thing they called the internet. I became use to the hum of email and I started a small list of joke readers and posters. I called this bunch, Rockie’s Ghost Riders. Somewhere in there, after he married his lovely wife Cheryl, Vince and I got back together  He kept her and is still hanging on to her. He told her about me. but I kept on not showing up. Cheryl dubbed me Harvey the Rabbit since she thought I didn’t really exist. She was not prepared for the dynamic that still existed between Vince and me.

About that time, I too, was fortunate enough to find my lovely mate, Sandy, on the internet no less, and after being together for several years, we got married. Had to! I needed her insurance coverage <ha!>. We are still together, in love, still riding Harleys and are still raising hell (a bit slower, now I must confess).

She too, was not prepared for the Texas Dynamic Duo. So the four of us became close friends and ride together. Two level-headed folks and two crazys. I will let you figure out who is who.

Well, the computer bug bit Vince, and he started sending me jokes and stories from all over the place by email. Now he is my number one contributor and he sends me stuff daily, which I cull through and post the really good stuff. I have several other contributors as well and they fill in any gaps. Thanks Ghost Riders!

Now, after all of these years of emailing my butt off, another good friend of mine, Yancey, suggested that I turn my joke list into a full time Blog. He said it. I did it and what you are looking at is the result. More work, but the Blog allows more folks to see it, contribute to it, and cuts down on all of the email traffic. I hope you like it!

Oh, yes…one more thing! Everyone who knows me, knows I cannot stand Obama! Since elected, I am terrified of what this “man” is going to do to our Country. So if you are an Obama Fan you will get your feelings hurt here. So there, you have been warned. No snide comments if you please. Leave that to me….heh-heh!
